ABOUT
MakGoaltending provides training to goalies around the GTA. Although, we will work with all goalies, we have a strong core of female goalies. We provide a comfortable environment for female goalies to train, learn, and push themselves and each other to the next level. As our game grows, I believe it is important for goalies to have the opportunity to learn from and see high level and professional women.
"If you see it, you can be it."

I discovered coaching at 14 years old and fell in love. I've worked and volunteered for multiple camps and teams throughout the years. As well as lessons through MakGoaltending, I currently work with Jon Elkin Goalie School as a goalie coach, helping out with camps, clinics, private lessons and team practices. I grew up in Thunder Bay Ontario, playing boys hockey until Midget when I made the switch to play for the Thunder Bay Queens. While, playing for the Queens I also competed at the 2010 Women's World Championships in Sweden with Team Canada U-18. In 2011 I competed with Team Ontario in Halifax for Canada Winter Games. From there I accepted a scholarship to play for Mercyhurst University, a NCAA Division 1 school in Erie. PA where I majored in Exercise Science. I chose exercise science because I didn't have any formal "dryland" training growing up so when I got to Team Canada Camp I felt as I was a step behind everyone else. I came home from camp and enlisted the help of a strength and conditioning coach and learned the importance of off-ice training. After Mercyhurst I made the decision to join the Buffalo Beauts in the NWHL for it's inaugural season. I then moved to Montreal to play for Les Canadiennes de Montreal and then asked for a trade to Toronto to join the Furies to be closer to home and further my coaching career.
